Marketopia continuously aims to ensure that all websites provided by us to our clients are designed to be compatible with most browsers and mobile devices. The client agrees that Marketopia cannot guarantee full functionality on all browsers and mobile devices across different operating systems.
Marketopia is not responsible and cannot take responsibility for webpages that are not fully or partly displaying correctly on new updated versions of browsers and mobile device systems after the website has been completed and handed to the client. As such, we reserve the right to ask for a small extra fee for any changes and update to the website’s code or design to work with updated software.
Marketopia will buy the client’s domain name, and will host the website for the client. The client is responsible for paying the annual domain name renewal fee before the due date. The loss, cancellation, or the event in which the domain name may be bought by an outside third party is not the responsibility of Marketopia. Marketopia is only responsible for warning the client about the payment within a reasonable time before the due date, but it is recommended that the client keeps a record or prepares a personal reminder of the due date to ensure payment is settled on time.
Marketopia and any subcontractors we engage for the project agree to not intentionally disclose any confidential or private information provided to us by the client to any third party at any time.
Marketopia cannot accept any responsibility for any alterations and changes to the website including, but not limited to, additions, deletions, its design, SEO, content, or code made after its completion by the client or a third party.
Media and Content Delivery
Unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon in the agreement or proposal, any materials given to us by the client must adhere to these rules.
Written content must be sent in Word or Google drive documents by E-mail
Visual content such as photos, videos, and logos must be sent by E-mail or by flash drive
All visual content must be high quality and print suitable in JPG, PNG, GIF, or TFF format
Logos, illustrations, and other graphic design elements must be sent with their respective program format (.Ai, .PSD, .AE, and etc.)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Marketopia does not guarantee any specific position in search engine results using the basic SEO provided by the basic web development plan. Please inquire about or add this service to your web development plan for a more prepared and effective SEO for your website.
Marketopia reserves the right to include its website link (Marketopia.co) in either small or large text/graphic at the bottom of the client’s website. If a graphic is used, it will be designed to fit the overall theme of the client’s website design. The client agrees, with their website, to be presented on Marketopia’s portfolio (online and offline.) If the client would like to remove Marketopia’s design credit, a nominal fee of 10% of the development fee will be added to the web development full payable amount.
Marketopia hereby excludes itself, its employees, and agents from all and any liability from
Loss or damage caused by any inaccuracies
Loss or damage caused by omission
Loss or damage caused by delay or error, whether the result of negligence or other causes in the production of the website
Loss or damage to clients' artwork/photos, supplied for the site. Immaterial whether the loss or damage results from negligence or otherwise
Please refer to the “Project Delays and Client Liability” portion of this document for information on the client’s duties and responsibility according to client feedback and, unsatisfactory products/services and requests for edits.
The client is responsible for paying the deposit, domain name fee, and full payable amount, along with any extra expenses, according to the aforementioned “Terms of Payment and Deposits” at the general Terms and Conditions page.
